Weigh In... Sam Winchester is tough on me...

I had weigh in this am at 266. Which is 9lb. since January 15th... So yes I am getting there one step at a time. I know this weight didn't get eaten back on over night, so it will take a while to get it off. But in hindsight almost 10lb in a month is actually pretty good.
So what did I change? WELL: I started to track my foods again. Yes I still have pizza on Mondays, but I have chicken on mine and I make sure I only eat 2 pieces. I drink a lot of water at least 64oz. a day. I also started to go to the gym again. I do a full body workout on Tuesdays with some cardio and then Wednesday and Friday I do Body Combat which is awesome... The two instructors at the YMCA are amazing. Then on the weekends I walk at the Renaissance Faire... this weekend I walked 16miles. I also make sure I have a good breakfast and I don't buy faire food... I eat pretty healhty... with the stuff I bring. So yes, it is possible to camp and eat healthy. I am at a really good place in my head space finally it took to long, but I am getting there. Who knew that recovering from a really bad place can take this long. I also realized that there are still things in my life I have to re learn from what I had been told in the past, but I also can do that. I have a really great support group of friends on FB and we are all trying to loose weight, so that is awesome as well.
Oh and that same group is doing a little thing, we are walking to Mordor together. Each week we log how many miles we walked and then combine them in our Journey to Mordor. We left Hobbiton a little over week ago and are on our way to Rivendell. There were times this weekend where I didn't want to go back out but then was like Oh Shoot we gotta walk to Mordor... Today I took a rest day and apparently I needed it, I fell asleep reading and took a 2hrs nap Body is also a bit sore all over, but drinking the water will help with this and flush out some of it.

Sam Winchester is my Personal Trainer...

What do you say? Well just look at these pictures...




Well anyway, since the new year I have been so busy with the Renaisannce faire, that I have not been able to get to the gym. But I am wearing my fit bit again and I have lost 4lb. since my last post. So not as bad as it could have been. So that is improvement. But I also walk about 14-18 Miles at the faire every weekend. I am also making better food choices of what I am bringing and don't gain weight during the weekend, which was always the hardest thing to do out there.
But why Sam Winchester you ask? Well I am getting a Photo OP with Jared aka Sam Winchester in September and I wanna look good and wear some damn heels and a dress. So yeah there is my motivation.
I joined the YMCA and I am so happy they have Body Combat. So today I went for the first time in over 3yrs. Well the good thing is, muscle memory is awesome, bad thing is I had to modify the jumping, first cause I am so out of shape and second my knee has been bothering me again. I got a brace that I am now wearing.
So I felt a bit intimidated when I got into the class room, cause needless to say, I was probably the only person in there that was 100lb. over weight. But I swallowed ducked my head and worked out. I had my wraps on which helps me to know where my fists are, cause yeah I hit myself before doing an upper cut. 
Once I was in the groove I felt like Sam and Dean Winchester ganking beasties left and right. I know I am going to be sore, so lots of water today. Tomorrow is another day of weights and cardio and Friday is combat again. Mondays are rest days cause frankly I am pooped after the weekend at Faire.

Day 2

Yesterday, finally I started to log my food again on Lose it. And I also realized that Lose it can be connected with Fit bit. So my Fitbit is charged and on my wrist as well.
I bought lots of veggies and organic snacks. My goal is to not eat as much processed foods and lower my cab intake.

Also for my water intake, I put 3 rubber braclets on my wrist and every time I finish my 28oz. Mug I will take one off to know how much water I already consumed.

I've been really busy with work and Lars being sick, so no Gym this week, but I will get lots of walking in this weekend at the Rehearsals for Faire.

I made plans on what foods to take and make out there. Those Salads in a jar a great, on Saturday I am making Chili that I am bringing and just needs to be heated and I know I can eat that. I won't eat any of the other foods. I will have snack bars with me. And I am making eggwhite mini loafs for breakfast that can be sliced and heated.

So cross my fingers this will work.

2014 a new year a new start...

Allright... this is getting serious, I weighed in yesterday and holy crap 273lb. That can't be happening... I never been this heavy. So let's kick this in the ass.
I am a member at the YMCA now and I can do Les Mills classes again. So body Combat here I come.
I am also planning meals better for weekends. I am going to be gone every weekend for 3 months. So I decided to make Jar Salads and have those as my lunch.
I am also trying to not have starch/carbs after 4pm. I joined the Green Smoothie Challenge to get more greens and fruits in my diet and since I replace one meal with the smoothie I add some protein powder to it.

Personal Vent...

I just need to get this off my chest, otherwise it will keep eating at me.

So in the 4 years Beth and I had been friends, she never ever mentioned to be a Supernatural Fan. She said she's watched it but never called herself a Fan. Then when I started watching it, she claimed that she stopped watching at Season 6 cause it had gotten so bad. She also gloated, as always that Jared came to the Qmx Booth at SDCC.

But anyways I digress... when I ended this very TOXIC and unhealthy relationship, I left everything behind. So I had to start new and I found wonderful friends in the Supernatural Fandom. Since I am a fan, I started to make items for the fans of the show on etsy, since there is not a lot of Supernatural merchandise out there.

A couple of months in Beth started to make Converse, which she stole the idea from someone on etsy like everything else she does. She made a Winchester shoe and told Support Supernatural that the proceeds would go to them. AFTER I had been working with them for a while.

Fast forward to NOW... last week Geekabye baby announced that they are teaming up with Winchester Brothers for a give away. Now she is posting pictures of Thomas from a year ago still claiming what a huge fan she is. I really don't want her in the fandom. I worked so hard to make a name for myself. I hope she gets what she deseves and more. Cause FUCK YOU always trying to take shit from people and invade their space if they are successful.

Meal plan and getting a grip...

Allright...

Things are getting frustrating... I really like the fitbit, but I have not seen any positive results this week. I've gained 2lb. and I am not happy with that. I am pretty sure it's due that time of the month. So I am just trying not to beat myself up about it. This is a new week and a new start.
This weeks Menu, remember also I am cooking for a family of 4 and try to cook things that don't take 3 hrs to cook. :D
For breakfast I usually have Oatmeal, or eggs and veggies... Lunch is a Salad most days.
So here are our Dinners:

Friday: Sloppy Joe's (I get low carb buns for myself and use lean natural Beef)
Saturday: Fried Rice (brown rice) with Shrimp
Sunday: Shepherds Pie (again lean meat)
Monday: Steak, Salad and Sweet Potato Fries
Tuesday: Salsa Chicken with brown rice
Wednesday: Spaghetti
Thursday: We are having BBQ at Anika's School for the Prep Rally.

Summer is over let's get in shape....

Well summer was a disaster on the weight loss front, I gained the weight I had lost back. Some of it is my nephews visit, cause of course he wanted to try all the "American" Food. And it was also partially due to wearing a boot (or supposed to) for 3 weeks.

But now school started back up, the kids are not home and I can get to the gym in the morning. I made a meal plan and we are sticking to it. There was a small change on Saturday but that was it.
I also got a fitbit, and I am loving it. It tracks how many steps I take, when I am very active, and I can add my gym stuff, it shows how many calories I burned.
Then you can go online and you can enter you food, which I dig, that was the thing that made me successful last time. Counting calories and working out 5x week. The plan at the moment is swimming 3x and Cardio with Steve 2x week. I also have 2 more conventions this month I am going to and I know I have to be good. :D
So that's an update for now, we'll see how this goes, but I am at a happy place in my life where i finally can start to take care of myself again.
